Re: End of the school year

Dear Parents:

It has been quite a 4th quarter this year! THANK YOU for all of your efforts at your new “home school” at each of your houses. It has been difficult, but I think it’s safe to say that we all learned a lot through this experience.

If your son/daughter has completed all his/her work, their school year is over, and “summer” can begin for them.

If your student still owes some work, they have until the end of the day on Friday, May 15, to turn in their assignments. If they are not completed by then, we will simply mark it “incomplete” for the quarter. These students will be held accountable for their missing assignments and we will help them complete these assignments next fall when the new school year begins. This will mean the students will be doing these assignments during their study hall or lunch time.

Our goal has been to minimize our number of assignments and stay in contact with our students and families. If teachers decide that students must complete a certain number of assignments, then we will try our best to help them complete them by May 15.

Please contact the school (or your student’s teachers) if you have any questions. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jason Heitz
