York High School Administrative Assistant

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – York Public Schools

York Public Schools is accepting applications for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. We are seeking a caring, student-centered professional dedicated to supporting students’ communication needs and helping them thrive academically and socially.

Position Details:

• Full-time, certified position (serving a range of grade levels depending on assignment)
• Start Date: August 2026

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing speech and language services to students with identified needs
• Completing evaluations, developing IEPs, and monitoring progress
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
• Maintaining accurate records and compliance with state/federal requirements
• Serving as a key team member in MTSS and special education supports

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Nebraska license or the ability to obtain
• Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Special Services Credential (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• School-based experience preferred but not required
