REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) AND PUBLIC NOTICE
- REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS. York Public Schools (the “School District”), is requesting qualifications from qualified energy service companies (“ESCO”) for an energy financing contract to provide comprehensive professional, technical, and financial services related to the identification and/or implementation one or more energy conservation measures in existing facilities. The general nature of the proposed work being considered under the contract is the reconstruction, installation, replacement of equipment, and improvements to the HVAC systems at the School District’s facilities. Among other components, the work will likely include, but not necessarily be limited to, a new building automation system (BAS) at York Middle School, replacement of rooftop air handling units (AHUs) at York Middle School, and replacement of various heat pumps.
- QUALIFICATIONS SUBMISSION. Four (4) copies of the qualifications shall be addressed and delivered in a sealed envelope to York Public Schools, Attn: Superintendent, 1715 N. Delaware Ave., York, NE 68467. Proposals will be received until 12:00 pm noon local time on May 9, 2025. E-mail, facsimile, electronic, or telephone submissions are not allowed. Any bid received after the deadline will not be opened or considered, and will be returned to bidder. The submission shall be considered a public record and subject to disclosure upon request except as otherwise provided by law.
- OPENING OF QUALIFCATIONS. Submissions will be opened publicly and simultaneously in the presence of ESCOs and/or their representatives beginning at 12:00 pm noon local time on May 9, 2025, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter, in the school district’s administrative office.
